They say you shouldn’t judge a person until you’ve walked in their shoes but apparently you can judge them just by looking at them! Psychologists from the University of Kansas conducted a study that determined people’s ability to correctly guess a shoe owner's political, emotional, and personality traits by looking at their footwear. According to the reports, students shown a picture of shoes could guess 90% of the owners characteristics. "Shoes serve a practical purpose, and also serve as nonverbal cues with symbolic messages. People tend to pay attention to the shoes they and others wear," the researchers wrote.
